Freedom Horsemanship
Freedom
- through the spirit of the horse

Freedom Horsemanship
Is a
holistic methodology I developed over several years.
It recognizes and nurtures both sides of the
equine/human relationship.
The A, B, C's of Freedom Horsemanship
Awaken your awareness to a higher degree to enhance
your perception
Be...in
the moment with the horse, as it is in the Now that true unity lives
Communicate using all of your senses, including your sixth
sense – intuition
A LITTLE OF MY HISTORY
I had my first horse at
six years old, and now in my 50's my horses are still best friends and my most
important teachers. I have ridden, trained and owned several breeds of horses,
including gaited horses. Over the years I have studied traditional and
natural horsemanship from many sources. Equine behaviour studies have been my
emphasis over the last 10 years. I have spent years training or
retraining horses and learning truly what the horse thinks and feels and how to
apply that to helping horse and rider communicate and enjoy each other more
synergistically. I have taught here at the ranch and around Manitoba for
several years as well as in Quebec, Saskatchewan and Ontario.
Some Freedom principles
The spirit of the horse or
human must never be broken or tamed, it should be developed and celebrated.
Freeing your horse from over control will free his mind and spirit
and you will discover a real sense of freedom
Freedom
is something you and your horse will win with patience and practice. It
has to be win/win to be true freedom

Comments from Freedom Horsemanship
Students
From beginner riders to competitive
or experienced pleasure riders...
I have helped dozens of people come to know what true freedom is with a horse.
Here are a sampling of their comments:
Brenda F. school
principle
Thanks so much for the
fabulous lessons, we all learned so much. I feel like a little kid again,
the grin on my face must have been HUGE when Czar and I went through the water!
I like
your style as you provide guidance, leadership and encouragement in a quiet,
comforting manner.
Barb B. You are like the Mother Theresa of horses! Keep doing what
you are doing. This peace the horse emanates with the perfect harmony and
balance is the key to this essential we all want to be aware of.
Wendy & Henry N. & Family
All our stays at SeaSons are truly a treat, whether camping & trail riding,
lessons or clinics. We always come away refreshed and with more insight
from your wealth of horsemanship.
We are so
thankful to have met you and to be on the right "track" with our
horses and for the confidence you are helping all of us gain.
Linda C, family therapist
Thanks Barb, again, I want to thank you for such a fine day - just want to soak
up more from you - You are truly a great horsewoman!
I have been chosen as one of the members
of TEAM
EASY BOOT.
Easy Boots
are horse boots that are used instead of metal nailed on shoes.
They cover the horses hoof and are used for all types of riding, including long
treks or endurance racing.
I am part of a team of 100 riders selected worldwide that use and promote using
boots.
Many/most of
us also advocate natural hoof care.
If you have questions about using hoof boots I would be more than happy to help
you!
To learn more about the boots visit www.easycareinc.com
In Winnipeg and surrounding area Easy Boots are available at
Westgates & Horse and Co.
May you ride in the spirit of Freedom.
